Verse 25 To 31 Meaning

It was dark when the disciples were in the boat on the lake. They thought they saw a ghost. They were terrified and in fear. But it was Jesus. He said to the disciples not to be afraid as it was him.

This message is not only being told to the disciples but to us as well. Whenever we have uncertainty or are unsure about what to do next in life.

Don’t be afraid, just ask Jesus. He will show you the way every time. Trust and have faith. Never doubt his decision. The answer might not be right away, your question will be answered soon enough.

Never doubt Jesus’s answer. Do not change it in any way to suit your situation. Have faith and full trust in him. I promise you, you will be amazed at how your situation will turn to the positive and fall into place.

Peter asked Jesus to let him walk on the water to him. Jesus said come. Peter actually got out of the boat and started walking on the water toward Jesus.

Why could Peter walk on water? Because he had FAITH. Faith is the main ingredient we need to have as Christians. Faith is the conquer of all evil. In the book of Matthew Jesus told his disciples that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed (a mustard seed is 1mm in diameter) they would be able to move a mountain.

The problem is that we don’t have enough faith. Just imagine how your life will change if you could have just a tiny part of that mustard seed as faith with no doubt entering your mind.

Unfortunately for Peter as soon as doubt and uncertainty entered his mind he started to sink. This is what will happen to you if you start to doubt.

Faith leaves our hearts and doubt takes over then things go wrong. And we wonder why!

Then we cry to Jesus for help again after we have doubted his direction. Once again Jesus is there immediately to save us from sinking any further like he saved Peter from drowning.

Even Jesus sais to Peter You of little faith. Why do you doubt it? Therefore the importance of these verses is about faith.

I can tell you that faith is so important and is a pillar of Jesus in our hearts. Let the pillar of faith stand strong and tall in your heart. Let it never be torn down. Amen.

Matthew 13 Verse 44 To 46 Meaning

Matthew 23 verse 33

Verse 44 The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Verse 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. Verse 46 When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it.

Verse 44 To 46 Meaning

Jesus is once again talking in a parable to his disciples. He is saying that when we find God, eternal love, it is amazing. It is not something we can see or feel.

So that is why Jesus is saying it is like a hidden treasure or a pearl that is hidden. We will find this love in our hearts via emotions.

There will be this amazing physical connection to God who is not a physical being. Also, a person will not be bothered with worldly desires.

You will want to leave all that behind, trample over worldly things and now go to that place where eternal life is real.

You will put your whole heart and soul into following God because you know deep down in your soul eternal life is real.
