Matthew 23 verse 33

Matthew 11 Verse 28 To 30 Meaning

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Verse 28 To 30 Meaning

Jesus is talking to all of us directly here. He is saying that he will accept anyone who needs him. Whatever problem we have, whatever situation we are in, he is there for us.

Jesus will release our worldly worries and burdens and take them upon himself. Jesus will take control of our lives and lead us on the correct path.

Also what he is saying is to take his yoke (a spiritual connection/bond), which is to let him connect with us spiritually. There must be an unbreakable bond that will let Jesus be your mentor in life.

He is gentle and humble in the heart which makes the relationship and journey with him so rewarding. He will turn your life totally around without you being consciously aware of what’s happening.

Jesus changes one’s thought process and fills one’s heart with compassion. It is truly amazing.

And as Jesus says, my yoke is easy and my burden is light. You don’t even feel or notice any burden at all. Do you know why? Because there is none. He carries it all for us.

I have experienced, and still, am experiencing this wonderful connection with my Lord Jesus. I can only encourage you to do the same.
