Matthew 23 verse 33

Matthew 7 Verse 1 To 2 Meaning

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Verse 1 To 2 Meaning

This teaching by Jesus is the most difficult law to overcome. I find that it is very easy to judge or think about somebody in a bad light before I understand their situation.

No matter whether we think or verbalize Judgement on someone, it is bad. You cannot hide as God knows what you are thinking at all times.

How you judge someone, you will stand before God and be judged by God the same amount that you judged that person.

I have found that by praying and asking God for guidance these emotions of judging someone that flare up to the surface of my mind have almost disappeared.

One does get the odd occasion when you want to judge somebody, just remind your self not to and that feeling goes away.

I am finding that God is changing me emotionally. I am starting to see things in this world differently. I find that the more I read my bible the more I am changing.

What Jesus is saying is that it is not up to us to judge people. We must guide people and show them the way to life is through Jesus.
